The Edelrid HMS Bulletproof Screw Eco is an innovative and robust HMS carabiner. A steel insert at the base prevents premature wear or burrs which may snag your rope. The screw gate can be operated quickly with one hand, while it is also heavy duty enough to be used as an alternative to a steel carabiner for top roping.

For the eco-consious among you - this carabiner is non anodized, making it the more sustainable choice. Although anodizing provides slightly more protection from the elements, the process itself creates many harmful pollutants, which are difficult to dispose of.
